BASES OF 9th INTERNATIONAL FAIR OF CONTEMPORARY CERAMICS ARAGÓN´2009

1) In general, all those galleries of art and authors, who realize or expose Contemporary Ceramics, based in creative and innovative works, will be able to participate in the Fair.

In its interests for showing the different languages around to the contemporary ceramic, CERCO will give room to all proposals that go since the ceramic like object up to the video creation o the installations.

Museums, official organizations and associations, as well as ceramic schools, faculties, can take part also.

2) They must send the registration form, updated curriculum and three photographies of recent work in high resolution, indicating title, and year of carrying out, technique, materials and dimensions of the pieces or characteristics of the project of installation or video, before March 23rd, to the following address:

3) The selection of request of participation will be made by a qualified jury of the field of the ceramics and arts.

The Organizer Committee, will communicate from March 30th, the definitive inscription that will justify in this way the completely admission in the Fair.

4) CERCO has reserved the use of the written and photographic information, provided by every participant, in order to make the official catalogue of the Fair, and every another publication that could be published for the Fair.
The photographies sent in for the catalogue must be in jpg format, minimum size 15 x 20 and resolution 300 dpi., and if it’s possible on neutral background. The Organizer Committee, will be able to scorn the incorporation in the catalogue of the images that are sent, if it is considered that they have low quality and they are going to harm the result of the catalogue.

5) The Fair will take place in the Feria of Zaragoza. The places of the exposition will be composed of back panel in black colour, heading, higher illumination and electric connection. The measures of these modules will be 12m2 (4x3), height 2.50m.
It will be possible to be contracted so many modules of this measure like wish; the Organizing Commission will assign the above mentioned modules depending on the available space. The cost of each module will be 160 VAT included, to this price it is necessary to add the quantity of 69,60 euros for the insurance of material damages and civil liability.

The necessary elements for the inside montage of the places of the exposition, the same as the insurance of the displayed artwork will be paid by every participant. The Organizer Committee of CERCO won’t be responsible in any case of the consequences of the derived risk of the participation in the Fair.

6) The Organizer Committee of CERCO will supervise the displayed artworks and will be able to remove the pieces not adapted to the general criterion of the Fair.

7) The participation in CERCO, 9th International Fair of Contemporary Ceramics, supposes the complete acceptation of the present bases, as well as of the whole under current regulations of application In case of considering necessary by the Organizer Committee, the same could suffer changes. The Organizer Committee reserve the resolution of the doubts that can emerge in the interpretation and application of these bases, their decisions will be unappealable.
